Massive problem with Paypal and even more its customer service

I am having a big problem with Paypal and their customer service is unable to help me (we just go round in circles for a week now... and that was after I waited for ages for anyone from PP to respond in the first place). Anyway, I am now at the point of giving up on their "handling" of my problem... but they are also unwilling to tell me whether there is an external institution or a regulator to whom I can complain about them. So my simple question: is there anyone other than PP I can complain to if I have a problem with PP that they are unwilling or unable to solve?

Wow... not sure how I could've overlooked that. Question answered. Thanks!

https://www.paypal.com/uk/smarthelp/complaints also reiterates that FOS is the primary escalation option, after exhausting their own complaints process.

Why do believe that PP should be be able to resolve your problem. If they cannot. Complaining isn't going to help you either.0

I am old-fashioned and think that if I have a problem with company X then X should be able to help. W/o going into the details I have received at least four different explanations and suggestions about this problem and after one week we're precisely back at square one. But perhaps you know more about my problem than I do.Thrugelmir said:Why do believe that PP should be be able to resolve your problem. If they cannot. Complaining isn't going to help you either.
As to complaining... maybe it helps maybe it doesn't. But I am not willing to let them get away with that sort of customer "service"... if we do that then things will deteriorate further and further and we'll have ourselves to blame. Again, v old-fashioned.0 -
Front line customer service operatives are going to have differing levels of expertise. That's the nature of any business. Technology is making people dumber. Gaining knowledge and experience is a challenge.TMSG said:

As @eskbanker you need to complain though paypal 1st. If they can't resolve it then you can go to FOS. But FOS will only look to see if they have made any mistakes in the processes. It also not be a quick process.
Might help if you said what the issue was. As you might get advice on how to take it forward to get a quicker result.Life in the slow lane0
