Citroen c1 touch 998cc 15 plate.iv been told that my car has a cam chain,and does not need changing as it will last as long as the car. Can anyone confirm this is true?

I can find out tomorrow which it is for certain or you can find out by calling any citreon/peugeot dealer. Don't have the software on this pc. if you want me to do it I need reg number of the vehicle.0

The C1 and Peugeot 108 are the same thing as the Toyota Aygo, built in Czech by a joint venture between Toyota and Peugeot-Citroen. It uses that Toyota engine.1

HI Yes I can confirm the engine in that vehicle is chain driven. It needs no maintenance as far as that is concerned. the engine itself is a good strong unit, which needs nothing other than regular servicing.alanjones60 said:
