US Prepaid Card for online shopping

Does anyone have a prepaid "credit" card that you can use for shopping online in the states?

Was thinking of getting one as so many places won't take cards without a US address.

Found this one that seems cheaper than some other striclty US based ones (this one seems to be from Israel). Wondered if this would be as widely accepted?

Anyone got at account with them?

Thanks.

It's a bit obscure so possibly not.
The problem I find with US shopping portals isn't the cards they will accept (most happily accept my UK based pre-paid card as well as my debit card) but the address they will ship it to. The majority will ship to alternative addresses to the card's one but not to the UK.

None of these cards are cheap. And this one is no exception.

It appears to charge an initial purchase/loading fee of $4, followed by a fee when you reload it of $2.75. Maximum balance is $250, and it can only be reloaded twice.

You can only load it with a Visa card, and your card will probably charge 2.75% exchange fee loading, plus it will also count it as a cash transaction, so a further 2.5-3% will go there.

So your load of $250 will cost you in the region of $18.

You'd do better to use a credit card direct, I've never had any problem using a credit card in the States with a UK address, and if a company was picky about that, I can't see how a prepaid card would get around that problem, as it doesn't give you a US address?
