iPhone 12 mini deals o2 ?

Hi there, currently looking for the best available deal , but I want to stay with o2. Is it worth waiting until Black Friday to maybe see the price go lower than 579?  I am tempted by a contract , but I’m sure I’ll be paying way more!)

The iPhone 12 mini becomes discontinued next Friday (in reality its already discontinued from production) being replaced with the iPhone 13 mini who's preorders started 3.5 hours ago.

If you wait until the 26 November you are gambling on people still having old stock

There are mixed messages out there at the moment... Apple keeps some previous generation phones and reduces the price and others it kills off. The iPhone 12 Pro/Pro Max is certainly gone, iPhone 12 is staying and getting a price cut and the iPhone 11 another price cut... the iPhone 12 mini some say its dead, other say itll continue.

Assuming it is killed off, as I suspect given it never sold well, then places selling the handset itself will sell them until stock is gone.  Networks who have major contracts with the likes of Apple (ie O2) may not be able to sell discontinued models for long (afraid I've always been bleeding edge so never really watched when they remove the discontinued options). 

Next Friday will be telling when the Apple store comes back online and sales start if the mini is there or not... Apple themselves will typically stick old stock into the refurb store rather than pollute their messaging.
