Is it still worth having dual fuel?

Just wondering if anyone has abandoned dual fuel, decided to go down the route of separate fuels from separate companies and got a better deal?

EDF are pestering me like mad to sign up to their "market leading" new tariff (constant emails, text messages, even voice calls) which is fixed until September 2024, but with prices so high at the moment I don't want to fix for that long as prices may well come down, plus there are variable rate tariffs which are certainly better than the fixed rate they are offering. I also have no desire to have a smart meter, something else which they are pestering me for.

I was with EDF (well, I still am for electricity for another week or so) but have switched to two separate suppliers.
Do be aware that the options for switching at the moment are quite restricted, a number of the sdmaller suppliers have recently gone bust and some others have received "orders" from Ofgem requesting financial information.

Welcome to the Oil, LPG and alternative fuels section.      We will respond to posts in here but you wont get the sale level of response compared to posting in the Energy section (which covers gas and electric).  However, most posters here won't qualify for dual tariffs as they will be on things like LPG & Electric or Oil and Electric.
