    SAR sent too!
No confirmation from CCBCAQ@justice.gov.uk yet - should I try to call or email to confirm receipt?
Not yet , keep checking your inbox and spam folder for the auto receipt , but don't leave it to chance either , first past the post wins

Email a copy of the defence to the claimant or their lawyers if they are using legals , belt and braces , so to both

Have you complained to your MP?

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

You do realise that at Stanmer Park, OPS can’t hold a registered keeper liable who wasn’t driving?  This is covered on all the other Stanmer Park threads and would have been easy as pie to win at POPLA.

You need to read other Stanmer Park threads and send @ParkingMad a pm; she is local and is all over Stanmer Park cases and she has photos and BHCC landowner agreements going back years that the Defendant can use at WS and evidence stage.

  • I didn't know this and I'm assuming I've missed the deadline for this. I'll check out the threads and PM @ParkingMad as you say - thanks!

But you haven’t missed anything because you are nowhere near witness statement stage yet.  See the NEWBIES thread red heading ‘IMPORTANT - KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN’

Contracts between OPS and BHCC, from 2014 to 2020 are in this FOI request

  • Just received acknowledgement that defence was received and passed onto claimant. Hoping that means my defence has snuck in on time at least.

Will wait for further updates but a little confused over timing of POPLA appeal - when in process should this be done?
This is covered on all the other Stanmer Park threads and would have been easy as pie to win at POPLA.
Apologies, there is a lot of content and I have tried to read it but this step is a little unclear to me. I think from reading that if I'd done this earlier I would have saved court stage but the defence still stands - is this correct?

Thanks again for any help! Really appreciate it (I know this is not about the money you should think about some kind of "ko-fi" for people to leave a small token of appreciation...)

If you have submitted a defence to a claim from the CCBC you are way past the POPLA appeal stage.  The comment was "would" have been easy as pie to win at POPLA.
