Breakdown cover which will bring me back to the Isle of Wight

Hi there,
I am looking at taking out Breakdown cover. I live on the Isle of Wight, but travel over to the mainland for work and leisure. I am trying to find out if any of the Breakdown companies would bring me AND my car back to my home address, here on the island. I've only been able to get through to one(Auotaid) and they would only take my car as far as the ferry in Southampton or Portsmouth, the rest of the journey ie: paying to get my car back here, would be out of my own pocket. Others are just keeping me on hold, or have autobots on their web chats so I can't get an answer!
So I'm looking to see if anyone else is an islander and can recommend a company to me?
Many thanks in advance for your help.

I'd expect almost any "relay" to take you home-home, but ferries/tolls etc are almost always specified in the terms as being your problem. And that's going to be for the truck, return, not just car rate.
Looking at the Ts & Cs for my own breakdown cover, LV through Nationwide Flexplus, that's exactly what they'd do.
The easiest solution is probably for the ferry company to agree to push/tow the car onto the boat, or for you to get your preferred island garage to collect it from the port.0 -
