My employer is starting Enhanced Voluntary Redundancy. Are you normally expected to work the same duration as your normal notice? Just wondering if you can be told to work for more months than your normal notice because you are getting more money.

As it is voluntary redundancy then, assuming there isn't anything contractual on the terms, the notice period is whatever is agreed. Could be longer, shorter or the same.

From your employers perspective the process may well need to be managed to effect a smooth transition. Depends which cog you are in the machine as to how quickly they'll let you go.0

Mine was go now byebye.
A friends was strung out for years. The point that its enhanced, gives them all the cards, and youll probably have to sign silence terms too.0 -
Mine was also go now. bye bye.
Read any agreement carefully. Mine had a few tricky clauses. But I was able to write [subject to agreement/as long as it was factual] my own reference which they'd send out to any future employer.
