I was with outfox the market until yesterday and £231 in credit, paying approx £1k per annum, £93 per month. They've put my payments up to £128 per month, predicted price for next 12 months £1.5k. I reckon that's a 50% increase. I've now changed supplier.

Second of all "overcharging" is usually self inflicted. Usually by not reading meters, relying on estimates for months on end and then a reading turns up from somewhere and it turns out all the previous readings were so far wide of the mark its tragic.

Also you haven’t mentioned if your tariff rate has gone up or how often you provide meter readings. If the rate has gone up as your fix has ended or your variable rate changed then it’s reasonable for your direct debit to be increased. In any case I hope you found yourself a better deal.0

I think both of those prices are cheap. 3 bed semi here. And as people say your DD is not your costs just an estimate probably very influenced by you.
