Refund from FairFX/Omnio Global

Can anyone help or advise me please? 
I received a refund of $1347 to an expired FairFX card on 6th August.  Because the card had expired I was told by FairFX that I needed to contact Omnio to get my refund. 
After chasing them they confirmed the funds had been lifted on 16th august and I would receive a refund within 28 days.  They also advised there was no backlog anymore so should not be any delays.

I have still not received my refund, I need this money to pay my mums outstanding funeral costs, both FairFX and Omnio know this.  FairFX just say they are continuing to chase Omnio and I have had no response from Omnio despite emailing them daily since Monday! 

I am at my wits end, the funeral costs need to be paid and I was thinking I would have this money by now as that’s what I had been promised by both these companies.  I have put in a complaint to the financial ombudsman but I understand it could take weeks to get a response.  I am now having to consider taking out a payday loan!
