I'm not a complete luddite but could someone help please. I've been on Avro Simple Energy for some time now, two years plus. Just checking via three comparison sites, (here, Confused and Uswitch) they seem to agree that this is the most economic plan, and if I switch I'll pay more.
Tariff
Simple Energy
Type
Variable
Electric Standing Charge
24.05p per day
Electric Unit Rate
19.64p per kWh
Gas Standing Charge
26.51p per day
Gas Unit Rate
3.31p per kWh
The charges are above. Is this really correct? We live in a large-ish family home , five beds and are four adults.
thanks for any advice

I'm not in a position to give you any better result than the comparison sites have. Those tariffs look reasonably good to me, given the current state of the energy market. Why do you doubt them?N. As you have "been on Avro Simple Energy for some time now, two years plus", shame you didn't secure yourself a fixed tariff earlier. @MSE_Martin and his team have been warning this was coming for months.
You could have even have been paying more than necessary if this has been ongoing for 2 years.(but that is water under the bridge now)
Think about signing up to the CEC and receive alerts whenever a cheaper option exists.
