Company goes bust halfway through switching
I started the process of switching from British Gas to People's Energy about 12 days ago and received all the usual emails from both sides confirming that PE would start to supply my energy on 23rd September....of course yesterday PE announced it had ceased trading, so I am wondering what happens now? I called BG and they said "call People's Energy, they have to stop the switch on their side"...not very helpful given that PE isn't trading and of course no-one there is answering calls. I assume the switch either won't go through or I will join the list of PE customers being reassigned to other proivders...anyone else had experience of this kind of situation?
