Is this painting quote fair?

I've had a quote of around £2500 for a 3 bedroom house - well, two bedrooms and one nook - for stripping paper, painting etc, for every room apart from the bathroom.
So, basically £870 for the combined lounge and bedroom, £270 for the small kitchen and the rest is for the three bedrooms, hallway and landing. Does this seem fair - it's about what I was thinking of paying - there's also £250 included in that for getting the materials paint etc, but to be honest I'm happy to be mostly hands off apart from picking colours.

If its a decent job that's going to last a few years . If it will do you and stay good for 5 years that's a tenner a week
