Train Prices - see my whinging letter to the operator

I've been getting annoyed recently at having to fork up extortionate fares for trains when services like megabus are so much cheaper (and worse admittedly). I was planning to take part in a contact lens trial in Cambridge, but the train fares would cost me about £150 over two years and six or seven trips.
I bet that fares are just as bad for people on low income and older people if they don't have railcards provided free.
