Spotlights in 2007 extension

We had to get our spots replaced in our ensuite and bathroom. Bulbs went, but we couldn't get them out of the fittings. In fact when I tried the whole fitting fell down. Think they wer the original ones from 20yrs ago. We had all six replaced and it's made a huge difference in both bathrooms. I haven't bothered with the kitchen ones as the fittings are different and easy enough to get the blown bulbs out. Maybe one day.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉0

Thank you for the link to the bulbs, I've already paid silly money at a local DIY store.
I was fed up when I moved into the bungalow because a few spotlights had blown, I've never changed one before and am scared to go high up on my old ladder. I finally watched 4 YouTubes videos and found my type of spotlight, and found out how to pinch the silver bulb holder, I couldn't work it out for ages.£216 saved 24 October 20141
