Can anyone recommend skin products for sensitive skin cleanser/moisturiser etc mine is quite dry and have tired loads of stuff clinique is too harsh , as is olay or johnsons baby, No 7 ,tired green garnier recommended by a friend the other day and my face burnt bright red esp under the eyes in about 2 mins. tried to go to girls on the counters for samples to try to see if ok as its so dear but they seem to think im just after a freeby and always swear their stuff is very mild Arden nearly took my face off - for weeks after it was very burnt. Some things burn straight away others take a week or so. Then i dont know if its a cleanser or moisturiser and try to desesensitise by not using anything for a while. Dying to use anti wrinkle and lovley skin products but these seem to be worse must have more stuff in them.
The only ne I have been able to use ok is shiseido (even this can be a bit strong )but cant buy this now and have to sent off its a very dear one and the sites like strawberry charge mega for duty.
Strange thing is that I can put anything on my neck/body no problems seems to be a different skin from jawline down.

I have used in the past, aqueous cream from Boots. V V cheap as a cleanser and I am sure they will give you a free sample. Just tissue it off. I now use my beloved Liz Earle and have no problems. If you phone them I am sure you can buy a sample size. Anything for a baby is not always a good idea as it is mostly designed to cleanse their bottoms! Good luck0

ha ha - my face does resemble a red smacked baby s bottom at times.
Have heard of liz earle stuff and will go to the site. thank you0 -
Liz Earle
If you want to try it without wasting money then order off https://www.qvcuk.com
You have a 30 day money back guarentee with them, even if you use most of the product.
If it does work for you then you can try ebay or even Liz earles own website for future stock0 -
I have hyper-sensitive skin and rosacea (which means the blood vessels in my face dilate and break - very painful) so I'm very careful about what I can use. I use the SHER system. https://www.sher.co.uk
I use the cleansing gel, silver, face wash, serum, and sunscreen. THe other creams are just too heavy for my skin, and are unnecessary. You have to fill in the form first, then they'll asses what you need.0 -
Cetaphil is good for sensitive skin (and inexpensive). Dermalogica is very good as well but can be a bit pricey. Highly recommend them though.

Liz Earle is probably the one that contains the least 'allergenic compounds' i.e things that are likely to set you off like alcohol, parabens, mineral oil, glycerine, lanolin.
My Mum and sister both use Liz Earle, I use Elemis and Gatineau which are also very good for sensitive skin although I have heard of some people reacting to certain Elemis prodcts, I think because of one particular natural oil they use. Some Elemis counters will give you a full skin consultation for free and give you samples to try too0 -
You could try the Simple range and if you email them they'll probably send you some samples so you can try it first.
Otherwise my favourite is the Barefoot Botanicals rosa fina range - it's not cheap but it's never given me any problems. There's also an SOS cream which is fantastic if you do have a breakout.0 -
My skin is extremely sensitive and I cannot even use aqueous cream, I react to the preservatives but I have been using Liz Earle for years and have no problems. I did start off by getting their small travel sizes to try and have never looked back. It is expensive but lasts for ages.0

i'm also a fan of the Simple range , as is my Father who also has very sensitive skin. There's no colours or perfumes in their products and also are pretty cheap (especially compared to Liz Earle)0
