Unsecured debts against the estate without loan agreements

There are a couple of unsecured credit card debts against my late mum’s estate, they have no even passed on to Phillips and Cohen debt collection services by the original lenders.
I have requested to see the original loan agreement to check terms and conditions and whether mum had paid PPI and a letter outlining balance of payments but they have failed to provide them.
My quandary is whether I pay the debts regardless of wait until the paperwork is provided?

There are a couple of typos in there and no edit function. Should read.
* “they have been passed on to Phillips and Cohen.”
”whether I lay the debts regardless or wait until the paperwork is provided “

Forget PPI, the stable door is firmly closed on any further claims.0

No, I’m trying to ascertain whether she paid payment protection on the credit card debts which would mean the debt was cancelled on death.0

If she still had such a thing It would be itemised on her credit card bill, if it is not on her monthly bill then she did not have it.Abbotacus said:No, I’m trying to ascertain whether she paid payment protection on the credit card debts which would mean the debt was cancelled on death.1 -
Good thinking....I think the majority of her statements were online but will check.
