Holiday Refund Agreed but not PAID

I am having extreme problems with Your Golf Travel Ltd who agreed to refund our holiday money, less the deposit but, four months down the line, we have yet get any confirmation out of them as to when they will refund us.  The amount is over £6,600. Would legal action be any quicker?  I have read that some of their customers have been waiting over a year!

If they defend the claim, and there seems no reason if they agreed to a refund, then you could be waiting 12 months for a small claims hearing due to a backlog of cliams in the county court. They are members of ABTA, so for free, I would contact them first and see if they can put pressure on them. They are certainly not a small business but if they make promises which they break, they may be much smaller in future

How did you pay? Can you do a chargeback on S75 on your card? Call your bank ASAP, there is a time limit.

If not, Small Claims Court is probably the best bet.
