Grace periods if extend period of parking (Parking Eye PCN Abersoch)

I also wish that 3 hours had been paid for! If had seen the sign saying was a Parking Eye and ANPR then would have made sure to cover extra for entrance/exit time just to be sure. Sadly did not!
Hadn't seen a Parking Eye pay and display car park before (rather than the usual supermarket free 2 hours etc), and certainly not for a gravel car park at the beach. Back to looking at the signs more closely again now in future I guess.
Thanks for your help anyway, much appreciated.

Have you complained to the golf course? I do also recall complaints about green signs hidden in trees but you paid at a machine or by app, so must have read that large sign.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks. I had read of golf course giving short shrift to anyone with any parking ticket there basically, other than a disabled user. I would try now but still within the 'discounted' payment period for the PCN so with it not looking strong it may be best to take that whilst on offer.
You are right as well I think the successful ones on POPLA looked to be people who had been there in the evening and not paid at all as they didn't see the signs. So may be even more of a challenge with having paid.
In this case the pay and display machine was seen, with a code on the side for the parking app, and that was it (didn't get to see terms as machine was in use with queue for paying by cash). The main board was also separate to the payment machine. Issue being had no idea it wasn't a standard pay and display rather than a PE car park monitoring entrance and exit times.2
