It came about because I actually got a call completely out of the blue from the office a day after I'd last posted. I think it was from one of my previous call back requests that they'd only just gotten round to.smudge56 said:It will have been looked at again by another examiner and they have decided that they can recognise you from your previous passport photo. It should be with you in a few days. :-)
I just told him the whole story again and explained that my only course of action was to "formally" request a reassessment of the photograph. He took all the details and said he'd make sure the request was on the system.
I'm not looking at going abroad any time soon though, although I might have to finally apply for a Revolut account

My experiences with passport verification for airlines and also the ground handling solution are very positive. O course I have been suspicious but with this everything went faster. Time ist money-1
