BMW - heavy clutch

Sorry - yes, you asked earlier. We tried two, including the one we bought. They were the same, clutch-wise. I had it in the back of my mind that they seemed heavy, but it was not a major issue on the day.AdrianC said:

Regarding the BMW, thanks for all the replies. I'm getting used to the clutch. It is stiffer than the Audi, but I've had a couple of BMW drivers try it and they say its normal.
Dual mass flywheel - I assume that was the problem with the Audis as well.0 -
They're a pain in loads of diesel engined vehicles, they're designed to help the gearbox take the massive torque load of the engine.tenchy said:

It's a popular mod in Transit vans to ditch them and convert to a solid one.0
