Online degree: expensive recognisable uni or cheaper lesser known college?

I’m considering doing a creative writing degree - I’m 35 and I never went to university when I was younger, I got a place after doing my a-levels but then decided to go into work instead. I’ve always regretted not taking the opportunity, though it’s not made much difference to my career as I went into secretarial work and now earn a reasonable wage. Getting a degree now would mostly be about personal development, and doing something I enjoy in a more structured way than usual!
I found two places that offer an online, part time, BA (hons) in creative writing. One is Falmouth Uni, and would cost about 21k all in. The other is the Open College of Arts and would be more like 10k.

I’d never even heard of OCA before now. Reviews sound okay, a bit mixed but possibly due to people having unrealistic expectations for a distance learning course. I guess I’m a little worried that it looks less legit, especially on a CV, compared to a recognisable uni like Falmouth. But that said, I wouldn’t be looking to get a job in creative writing, and 11k is one hell of a difference in cost! But THAT said, 10k would still be a lot to spend on a course that turns out to be substandard.
Does anyone have any experience with OCA, or any thoughts generally on what I should do? In theory I can afford either course, though I’d likely look into student or private finance for the more expensive one. I could afford to pay the 10k one off in monthly instalments.
