Thanks all, it's the right decision as I haven't mentally revisited it once
Week one of hill sprints at 9 this morning - hard work but I feel fine. Now at Glasgow Green sipping a coffee in the sun while DD has a cycling lesson. I have to take her to a party later, but otherwise a nice lazy day.
Dinner will be "posh noods" (instant ramen with pork I roasted last week, fish sticks, soft boiled eggs and some sweetcorn and seaweed 😋5 -
^^ take out the fish sticks and that sounds gorgeous 😋 Am now wondering if I can persuade DH to have something similar tomorrow.... he's a fussy so-and-soI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £206

I am a bit embarrassed as I dropped DD at a party after parking really carefully in a small carpark, tried to exit and got blocked in by a mum obviously dropping off a child at the same party who swooped round the tight corner in a very inconsiderate fashion. As I'm pretty sure she saw me loudly exclaiming oh !!!!!! I'm going to see if Mrs E will do the collection
I have a bit of a temper, but the drivers of expensive German cars are very entitled in my neck of the woods. A bit of a silly end to what was otherwise a great weekend, hopefully she didn't recognise me...
£3.60 withdrawn from TCB, £1.80 of which was OPed and £1.80 of which was paid into my ISA.5 -
Just catching up on your diary - I'm sorry you had a bad experience with that driver. It's scary when they come out of nowhere.
I love your sneaky, frequent OPs! We are in a situation where we might suddenly need money (sick parents, some of them abroad), so I'm always making sure to keep some funds aside for emergencies, but I used to, with my very first mortgage, traipse into the branch (pre-internet!!) at least a couple of times a week to pay off a fiver or something.Declutter challenge: List 312 things in 2022: 45/312

Like yourself with the fivers, I find that regular payments keep me motivated and the bank confused
As long as spare/found money is at least £2, I'm good for another OP and ISA payment.

Always good to confuse the bank.6

Never mind confuse bank, confuse me! Fish sticks? are they like homemade fish fingers or are they something else? I did google and found this Mediterranean recipe.
See the influence you have? I have some slow-roast pork and we are shopping today after pup is vaccinated later this morning. So, I shall be checking out the fish counter and buying instant noodles (I have dried egg noodles...). Where I live I am unlikely to find seaweed - it might have to be seasoned fried savoy cabbage insteadSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
