Gas tariff - switch and ditch or stick?
Comments
-
Thank you for all of you comments.
I have initiated a switch to this tariff:
EDF Tariff (Mar24v5) - Fix to Mar 2024 (2 year, 6 months) - 3.985p per kWh, 26.12p per day Standing charge
EDF sent me an email offering a £75 account credit, which is a bonus.
I feel reassured with the 2024 fix date and that I have the option to switch if prices do drop significantly.0 -
How do you get the bonus credit from EDF? Interested
.
My quick quote is:
Standing Charge26.12p per day Unit Rate 4.106p per kWh
?

Do a quote via EDF website, within a few days they usually send a email offering £50 or £75 credit to switchIamWood said:How do you get the bonus credit from EDF? Interested

Yes, I did exactly as bristolleedsfan said, I got a quote over the weekend and this evening, shortly before I was going to sign up, I got the email offering £75 credit, so that was a bonus.
I found a referral on google to get £50 credit, so if this £75 had not come through, I would have gone for that.2
