I'd say within the past year there's been a noticeable downturn with the quality of Sellers on there even ones with high positive feedback. Up until a few months ago I'd never returned anything. Recently I've had so many SNAD returns It's really put me off and Ebay's Customer service has been next to useless when trying to resolve the problems. Please one more tip from me, DON'T use ebay for electronics and/or Apple products. You mention being careful and taking photos in case of returns - but I suspect if you return as much as a ball point pen within the next year you will get banned again. You've had your warning, don't fall into the same trap again. You appear to be a scam magnet, don't push your luck.as like kaMelo says I've rarely ever heard of anyone getting reinstated after this sort of event- you were very lucky, but you will be on their watch list. Also don't cancel anything after purchase, never start questioning sellers after purchasing and for the next year I might even suggest you refrain from excessive messaging even before purchasing, if something isn't clear then ask one simple question for clarification or find another listing. I buy a fair bit on ebay and haven't had to ask a question for years.Just use ebay for your wheelchair batteries, nothing else unless it is a really simple items that can't go wrong like a book or some stationery.Find a source for your electronics somewhere else , try CEX in a shop or something similar .I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Ebay is not alone on banning serial scammers (which they believe the op is but just not saying it outright) but who can blame them.
Who needs to be buying multiple expensive items? And then they all have a problem, what are the chances of that?
Sure there are scammers on Ebay, but for it to be everyone you deal with is unlikely. The genuine sellers will have complained about this buyer, enough of them to convince Ebay there is a problem.
Like other online marketplaces with generous returns policies these policies eventually get abused by people who see just how easy it is to get away with it so greed gets the better of them.0
