Hi,
If I were to sell my current residence (worth 240k) to a newly formed limited company in my name and then buy a new residential home (worth 350k) will I still pay the 3% additional stamp duty

Personally no, you wouldn't. However the SDLT that your company would pay on the purchase of your current property would mean it would be pointless.
