[Solved] Can I pay into my account, a cheque in my mum's name?

My mum has a crossed cheque in her name, however she's with the Co-op bank and paying it into her account is a faff, her app doesn't have the cheque-image feature. She has to order envelopes from the bank, wait for them, then pay into the Post Office. My Bank of Scotland app does have this feature, but will the bank allow the cheque going into my account? Same surnames. Googling isn't helping (I swear Google's getting worse).

Another alternative is to send it in the post with a paying in slip to CoOp Bank
