Leaking mains water supply pipe replacement cost

My mains water supply pipe is leaking and I now have a stream water feature running down my drive. This is the second leak in the last 3/4 years for a 1949 build house. The leak is near the previous repair. I am now wondering whether to pay for another repair or to replace supply the supply pipe. What sort of approx cost per meter might I be looking at?

Have your local water authority done a repair in the past couple of years? If not they might sort it foc between the boundary of your property and where it reaches the house or first building - look on their website.
See also the last post in this thread although the cost will depend on the length of run, what needs to be dug out and made good. For a better idea a photo / sketch might be helpful.
