New Generation parking ticket

Hi, looking for advice please 🙏
I recently received 3 x parking charges (arrived on the same day) from DCBL on behalf of New Generation, one dated 2018 and two dated 2019.
Each time Ive used said car park it has only been to drop items off to the local charity shop, and each time I entered my reg details in the machine in the shop. Im sure I would never have been more than 10/15 mins each time.
I have spoken with the charity shop, they no longer have the machine but said that it was owned by New Generation.
Wondering if I should ignore them, pay them, pay someone to 'fight it' for a fee?..
Thanks in advance for any advice 😊

If it’s DBC Ltd then they are intimidating but pointless debt crawlers, so if it’s them and read the DCBL letters group thread.
Search the forum for it. In that thread somewhere, I’ve provided an example letter that tells DCB to consolidate multiple PCNs due to the requirement to advance their entire case at once, not as three claims with exposure to the hassle 3 times and more costs and court time.
You should use that, when DCBLegal write, or use it now if you want to fire a shot across DCB Ltd’s bows and shut them up. I’m not providing a link as I’ve no idea where in the group thread that letter is. And you should read the entire thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Have you spoken to your local MP or even local newspaper? I would certainly do so as it is certainly a matter of local and wider public interest when you are being punished and harassed for exorbitant charges when donating goods to a local charity shop (which can be proven) and these clowns are refusing to show any good will or discretion! I'd seriously do this. Is it worth speaking to someone high up at the charity as well as this !!!!!! will have a knock on effect of people being reluctant to do drop offs if they know that NG are going to Tax them every time they pull up to unload.
Also unloading isn't classified as parking. Read the case of Jopson vs Homeguard to see if there is any similarities to your situation.
I've not heard of NG - I'm guessing they are some bottom of the barrel one man band type outfit.1 -
Ceratinly do not pay for advice, it is free here. As above, complain to your MP, complain to the charity, and complain to local papers, They would be unwise to take this t court imo.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2 -
As said above paying companies like Contestor of £12 Tony (I'm not dissing the guy by the way) probably isn't needed as the pool of knowledge, experience and expertise here is second to none. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the paid services scour this place as a resource for templates then charge for them.1

Tony what’s his name has a very basic understanding and hasn’t a clue beyond an old template appeal and if that doesn’t work he keeps your money and you are on your own.
Also, he used to work for UKPC.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

He's recently waged a war of words on POPLA as I kind of semi follow him on his socials. He has gone publicly lambasting POPLA for being corrupt- I'm not saying there isn't corruption there...but he's probably burnt bridges and therefore lowered any success rate he might of had which like you say affects the clients. If he gets blackballed by all companies then hes likely to lode more cases. So for the motorist - that's effectively wasted money, time and opportunity! I think people are sometimes frightened, desperate and want to pay for a quick fix to make it go away. Tony Taylor is his name I think - he was known as Ten Pound Tony - now Twelve Pound Tony as he recently put his prices up.
EDIT he charges £15 now!1
