Debtb relief order extra payment

The Insolvency Proceedings (Monetary Limits) (Amendment) Order 2021 states (my emphasis):
The amendments made by this Order apply in relation to applications for a debt relief order made under section 251B(1)(2) of the Insolvency Act 1986 on or after the date on which this Order comes into force.
The DRO Team at the Insolvency Service may feel differently - I haven't seen anything formal from them regarding this - but the legislation doesn't appear to enable it...0 -
Fatbelly is a CAB advisor, he deals with DRO`s all the time, as he is an intermediary for the IS.
If anyone knows, he does, so I would kind of assume it to be correct.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. I'm not doubting fatbelly's knowledge, but it would be helpful for all concerned if the Insolvency Service would say this publicly somewhere if it's the case (they may have done!).0

It came as an internal communication but I'm going to struggle to find it as I get stuff from so many organisations.
If I do find it I will cut and paste it
It makes sense that the 2k limit would apply retrospectively as, under the old rules, you could have an 'after-acquired asset' up to £1990 and that separate rule has gone now.2 -
Hi, does anyone have any further information on this issue with any evidence as above0

I did have a look and it was emailed to me by a colleague who attended the IMA conference so I didn't think it was worth cutting and pasting
It was slide 10 here
