You say you had a DRO, what do you mean by that ?

Has the DRO completed, or not ?

The DRO will complete in December this year
So you are still bound by your DRO rules then, the assets rule has increased since you started your DRO, it now stands at £2000.

Your DRO is still bound by the old rules, so you have a £1000 assets limit.

You received £900, well within the assets limit, so you are OK, and you don`t need to do or report anything.

You are free to keep the money.

The DRO Team have confirmed that the new limits will be applied to existing DROs

Then the OP definitely has nothing to worry about, I was wondering how two sets of rules might be implemented between new and existing arrangements, now I know.

Is there any written legislation regarding the change to £2000
