More Parking 'Ticket' Trouble - couple of questions on how to proceed

HI, just searching for a bit of advice if anyone has had a set of circumstances similar to these before and if so, am I missing anything.
I've had a parking charge notice from UKCPS which I've tried to contact them about to dispute. Unfortunately the Contact Us section on their website isn't working, the phone numbers (Mon-Fri 11am-1pm) all divert to the same full voicemail, and the only email address on the letter - for dataprotection queries returns as undeliverable.
I've logged a complaint with the Appeals Service that they note, acknowledging that I haven't already raised a dispute (as I can't) in order to register the fact that I've tried to make progress as of today - prior to the £60/£100 hike. First question is has anyone had this problem of contacting them - I admit, old-fashioned mail is available, but I've told them I only use electronic communications for traceability and environmental reasons (OK - I may be being slightly awkward here as it helps me to be so, but it's not my job to help them out if they can't be contacted!).
Regarding the actual dispute itself, it relates to 'stopping' outside a designated parking space, and I am disputing two points.
Firstly, I accept that rules are needed, but so too is an understanding of specific circumstances when events occur. The incident took place close to and on the day following a large music festival, and outside a McDonalds & Starbucks; as you may imagine, the place was swarming with teenagers who, having been collected from the music festival, had directed their parents to the McDonalds. the carparks were full with many cars circling, and the (private) road out was backlogged including around a roundabout. it was here that I was almost hit head on by a car which was going the wrong way around a roundabout to cut through the queues, with the driver looking the wrong way and arguing with another driver. Following this I pulled up for a couple of minutes to see if things would die down as the situation was dangerous. This is the basis of my initial dispute, dangerous driving. So my next question, has anyone had this issue previously and is it successful?
Secondly, the letter received states that the "charge relates to a period of parking" and relates to a "parking charge reference". But the reason for issue is "No Stopping" as was signposted on site. My understanding is that the highway code defines parking and stopping as two separate things, so as they said no stopping, but charged me for parking, can I argue that the invoice is invalid?
Any thoughts / comments welcomed

An invoice is never invalid , it may be contradictory , it my not be enforceable in law , but it is never invalid !!
Ukcps are an old IPC cowboy who do this trick regularly , so don't expect any quick fix , ukcps routinely reject any appeal
Court is where the outcome is binding on both sides , only a judge can decide based on all the arguments and evidence1 -

You must use the address the PCN gives. Anything else is pointless and certainly NEVER EVER ring an ex clamper firm like this bunch!
This sounds like just another UKCPS Manchester Piccadilly (or similar scam no stopping zone) badly signed entrapment zone, as covered in the UKCPS NO STOPPING joint thread we started earlier this year to save time and resources.
You can’t win an appeal but you will be ignoring them after going though the futile motions of the non independent kangaroo court of IAS. They upheld just 4% of motorist appeals last year. Absolute joke, and that farce is about to be replaced by a proper appeals service in 2022 as the Government are finally stepping in.
no paying it, obviously. These ex clamper thug chancers are not worthy of your money and I’d be surprised if UKCPS survive the Government regulation, long term.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You should 'futilely go through the motions of appeal' as one IPC firm once emailed a victim by mistake!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

These are not reasonable people they are just greedy unregulated scammers that have hit on a catalogue of ways to screw money out of the motorist.None of your story will be of interest or even read by their staff who are just employed to process payments and bat back the appeals.Stop trying to phone them it won't help you, the reduced payment is an incentive to pay up and shut up, you need to read the newbies thread on this forum to get up to speed with all this. The organisers of this event seem to have just left the transport and traffic chaos off their radar, the ppc's must have had a field day.3
