i have been with green for about 18 months and am still on my original dd of £59 per month - i am still a few pounds in credit after my dd goes out but there have been some quite big hikes in the unit rate on electricity recently and my new estimated annual usage is now £89.42 per month equivalent rather then £59 so i am wondering if they are likely to increase my dd - i would in some ways prefer them to increase it now rather than wait and end up with a dd higher than my estimated annual usage

Alternatively, just us the "top-up" option if your account goes into the negative in a month to make it zero again.
  • Switch from Green Energy

When Green's new tariff begins on 1st October my yearly cost is going to rocket from £980 a year, £83 per month DD, to £1440 with a DD of £120 a month.

Hopefully by then I will be onto Sainsbury's 1 Year Fix and Reward v19 at £1333 a year with a DD of £112 and 6000 nectar points
