Tesco Groceries Online - Payment by Credit Card

Recently my wife has had problems paying for her shopping by credit card, every time she tries to pay it’s declined. Our bank confirms that there is nothing wrong with her card,
After many phone calls Tesco insist it isn’t a problem their end. They said perhaps she’d entered the card details incorrectly but the details haven’t changed and they’re already in their system.
She’s re-entered the card details as suggested and it still won’t accept it. She can use this card successfully with various other online retailers.
The strange thing is my wife pays monthly for online delivery saver and that payment is automatically taken using this card.
Any ideas please?
