OtherFD is my main bank, so I put other.
I note there are other (subsidiary) banks missing e.g. RBS, BOS, Holts, Cater Allen & Clydesdale/Yorkshire Bank/Virgin Money.
I think Furness building society offers current accounts.
There will be many other banks I missed.

SantanderSantander's my main because of their good student account but Nationwide as a secondary account as they have a branch near my uni so I can deposit cash and cheques easily.1

OtherNot a very comprehensive list Barry!

Nationwide
It would only let me put 10 names, those were the ones that came to my head…thanks for the vote 👍🏻lr1277 said:I note there are other (subsidiary) banks missing e.g. RBS, BOS, Holts, Cater Allen & Clydesdale/Yorkshire Bank/Virgin Money.0 -

With only 10 names available, I was always going to be limited to the amount listed, those were the only one that came to my head, I put in the list “other” so if your bank wasn’t listed, pop it in the comments.Zanderman said:Not a very comprehensive list Barry!0 -
I find it pretty much impossible to define "main" in this context. The larger of my two pensions goes into one bank, whilst the smaller goes into another, whilst the one that gets the smaller pension has the greater number of transactions.

What is your definition of a "main bank"? Is it the place my salary / benefits / maintenance payments are paid into? What if I have approx. the same amount of money going into more than one account? Or is it the account I am making payments from to other people / to companies? What if I don't make such payments? Or is it the company I have the most deposits / the most debts with?
As I don't think there's a definition which would apply to everybody, I am not voting in this poll. Not that it makes much sense, anyway, if not all companies are listed. NB. Nationwide is not a bank.1
