thelotuseater13 said:Morning! I took a photo of the sign and it confirms a ticket is not needed when parking up to 1 hour... its 50p per hour after that! pfft. Interestingly it says in the terms that i must display a valid ticket for the length of the stay but above it says i don't need a ticket... so could i argue that its not clear?
Section 69 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 is well worth reading.
Shouldn't take more than a minute...69 Contract terms that may have different meanings
(1) If a term in a consumer contract, or a consumer notice, could have different meanings, the meaning that is most favourable to the consumer is to prevail.Which is pretty much what @Umkomaas said.

Fantastic thank you folks! Should i wait to hear from the landlord (plan A) before going to POPLA or log something as soon as i am ready?0

You can wait, as long as you don't miss your POPLA appeal window.Jenni x3

Hi All, Not sure if i am not allowed to resurrect this or not. I got in contact with the landlord, who stated they cancelled it. I then received a 'final notification letter' from Euro Car Parks on 29/10/2021, so evidently it hasn't been cancelled. I contacted them again and they say they have cancelled it again.
Would i receive confirmation of cancellation from Euro Car Parks? What should i do?0 -
Send an email SAR to ECP asking for all data and communications they received from the landowner which identified you/your car/ your PCN and ask why your data has not been erased yet, given the cancellation requests. Tell them if they keep sending demands despite the landowner cancelling it, you will ask the BPA to raise a case and investigate a potential breach of the CoP and standards.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
