My wife recently received a parking ticket from the above, she was 15 minutes over. She shopped at TK Maxx so qualified for the 3 hours.

I originally appealed - but failed… learned on here after that I shouldn’t admit she was the driver.

anyway… is there anything in mitigating circumstances such as finding a space, putting 2 small children in the car and driving out of the car park? Because surely it’s 3 hours free parking - not 3 hours on the premises? 

I also noted it was issued on the 14th day - I didn’t receive it until 7 days later. Don’t I have to receive it by the 14th day? 

Any help would be appreciated

14 days means nothing when you’ve admitted to driving in an appeal.

Obviously you won’t be paying this. Just read the NEWBIES thread and tell us when PLAN A works.

As above , admitted drivers have no protection

make sure that plan A is followed , or a court claim will follow within 6 years

I’ve approached TK Maxx but I don’t think they’re the land owners, I’ve also researched the land managers - so I’m trying to contact them.

Yep , contact the retail park management , could be British Land , or LandSec , or an agent like Savills , whereas t k maxx will be tenants
