Matt Vs Eggshell/soft sheen paint

A subjective question, what's the general preference in interior paint? Matt or eggshell/soft sheen.

I have always chosen Matt but thinking about a different finish now.

Any opinions?

Do you mean for walls, 330d? If so, then matt all the way unless there is a really good reason for adding even a slight sheen to your walls. A sheen usually doesn't look good at all.

I happen to like eggshell, but admit it's not forgiving so it's best with perfect walls.
