Can't get logbook, should I be worried

I just wanted to pick the brains of the knowledgeable people here at MSE
I bought a second hand car back in June but as yet, I haven't received the new logbook in my name. The correct info was sent by the seller, so I waited the six weeks to receive it as advised on the DVLA website. Nothing appeared so I completed and sent off the V62 back in August and I still haven't got anything back.
I realise that things are taking longer than usual, but I am a little concerned at this stage. I have tried to contact the DVLA via live chat, but was quickly fobbed off by the robot on the other end and I can't get through on the phone - you don't get the option to hold on until someone is free, it just says "we are very busy" and cuts you off.
Should I be worried? I'm not sure what else I can do.

click on that link and enter your registration and it will show when the last V5 was issued for your vehicle that is where would look before chasing up the DVLA

Did they do the keeper change online or by post?
What's the last V5C issue date on https://vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk ?
DVLA's postal processing is abysmal at the moment - a combo of a massive backlog from when they were closed for Covid, and strikes over their office Covid precautions. So, if it was postal, I'm not terribly surprised at nothing yet. If it was online, you'd have had it back the next day.
The way a V62 keeper change works is that DVLA receive and process the form, then write to the last known keeper, who has a period of a few weeks to object to the change. So, no, I'm unsurprised at an Aug V62 not having been dealt with yet.
The quickest way of dealing with it may be to fib... Go to https://www.gov.uk/sold-bought-vehicle and use the doc ref from your green V5C/2 minus the first digit. Transfer the keepership into your name.1 -
It was all done by post unfortunatelyAfter checking the link that force-ten gave, the latest V5 issue date was the 6th September, so it looks like it has been actioned and should be with me soonThanks both for your help3
