Kent reliance mortgage

Hi everyone.
Just wondering if anyone has had any recent experience with Kent reliance mortgages. I’m buying a new build shared ownership and have just submitted a full application. Any idea how long it takes roughly? Also I’ve heard they are very thorough. I have only submitted the statements for the 2 current accounts that I use, I have a few other current accounts that I don’t use. Just wondering if I should have submitted these too to save any delays. Will they ask for these extra docs?

I assume you applied direct? Why are you worried, is there anything in your credit history/statements to worry about"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Hi,No I applied through a broker. I have late payments from about 2 years ago hence why I was referred to Kent. All declared to my broker he had my credit file. On my statements on the accounts I don’t use it’s just overdraft interest which I cover monthly. Im wondering if this will affect me as I’ve just left them overdrawn (within limit). Have you used them?0

Hey, We submitted our application with kent on a Wednesday evening (through a MA) and we got our offer exactly 3 weeks after. They were thorough in terms of asking to account for any monies paid to him on my partners bank account because he is self employed but nothing apart from that. Didn’t ask for any other documents that wouldn’t be asked by another bank etc. My MA asked for a statement of all accounts including credit accounts before we set up our mortgage but I’m not sure if these were actually used or not. Good luck to you though 🤞🤞KatC21 said:Hi everyone.Just wondering if anyone has had any recent experience with Kent reliance mortgages. How is your application progressing? I am in the same boat!My full application went in on 7th September, valuation booked for the 16th September. Received an email today asking for more documents. Waiting is stressful because of the 28 days turnaround timescale!1 -

The wait is so frustrating! Good luck with yours 🤞1 -

I know this is an old thread but what documents did they ask for in addition to ones you originally sent in just panicking as I’ve been asked for more docs!Bella2013 said:
