Hi if anyone could offer any advice it would be great. Me and my partner bought our property 5 years ago ....we were made aware there was a mine shift across the road in the neighbours boundary,  a mining report was done and mortgage was given no problem . We have come to sell the property and have been told now cash only as they are unsure whether the mine is treated as there are no records as it was shut in 1884. we have now come to the conclusion we will have to take the hit and sell cash.  We have found a new property the searches have came back and there is a mine under the neighbours property. We are very concerned as we don't want to take the risk of mortgage lenders not lending on it in future.  We are being told there won't be an issue as it is treated 'capped' .  Can anyone advise or help . TIA
