Follow the agents complaint procedure. Take the issue up with the agent initially.
its either contractual issue or a tenancy issue provided you have a signed tenancy Agreement .1 -

Make sure you write (pen and paper) to the landlord via the address for serving notices on your tenancy agreement, and keep a receipt for proof of postage. Emails it cannot be proven that it was received by the other person.0

I think it's worth writing to the landlord (c/o of the agency if you don't have their details) with a letter before action listing all your expenses and asking for them to be settled. They may well come back with a counter offer which you should probably consider. If this goes to court they could well raise questions around you minimising your losses and the rent figure will be disputed as it's likely you'll have whatever rent you agreed in the original contract taken off your claim. Certainly items such as storage fees and the broadband contract should be reimbursed by them though.
Forget the stress angle though, that isn't going anywhere. It needs to be quantifiable losses of which you have several.0
