I thought park and ride in London was the Tube. Find an edge of town tube station that is near a car park.

Park at Westfield Stratford and get the tube across London.  If you get the Westfield parking app it'll cost you about £8 all day.

Google is showing 2 H 15 mins (@ 19:50) driving time GY to Stratford
Drive to Norwich 30 mins Train to london 1 h 51. 

I know which sounds the better option & it's not sat in the car for over 2 hours..
