     Cheers, perhaps that's what their solicitor has told them and therefore what they're telling the agent if they did it about 7 weeks ago. I'll try to find out more tomorrow when we view the property.

    The executors might as well keep the property on the market for the time being. If the sale isn't going to progess.

    Why is that? It feels to me the same as an agent requesting proof that we have the cash to pay for it? Almost like buyer: prove you can pay. Seller: prove you can sell.

    I may have missed something but it felt perfectly reasonable?!
