Lender wants proof of latest credit card balance, don’t have it

When my broker applied for my mortgage, my balance on my credit card was about £3k. I made an extra payment of £500, told the broker and he submitted the new figure as an update to the application. Bank has asked for a statement confirming new balance, but my statement will only be generated at the end of the month.
Phoned CC company, nothing they can do. I provided screenshot of my app + a printed list of the most recent balance and transactions + email confirmation of additional payments, all in PDF.
How do I prove the latest balance?

This is a common 'issue' (if you can call it that) - most bank accounts generate statements at an arbitary date which may or may not coincide with the solicitors/lenders request. In any case, I would provide the last statements you have, even if there is a void period of several weeks.
Unless you're saying (which I think you are), you have made a lump sum payment to your credit card, and declared/submitted it to the broker/lender all before the next statement cycle so it doesn't appear on the previous?
Seems a tad extreme to do this for the sake of £500 unless you really are down to the wire on affordability to be honest.
My partner went down to a Nationwide branch she banked with and had them print and stamp a statement which she scanned (though for a completely different reason) - maybe you could do the same?Know what you don't0 -
I think we should be fine with affordability, but I thought the stronger our financial situation, the better. Barclays, btw.0

Barclays always do this if rhe application states that some of the debt is to be cleared. Best thing to do is for the broker to go back in to the case and key the CC balance as showing on the statement and leave it as that balance staying.
Nothing to prove then so the requirement will be removed0 -
Spoke to the broker, we both agree that Barclays is extremely slow, inconsistent and simply unreasonable. Unless they make us an offer soon, we'll cancel the application and apply with a normal lender. Thanks all for advice.

I'd be happy with previous card statement plus current account transactions list showing additional payment.I am a mortgage broker. it's not just that, they simply don't respond. I've been waiting for weeks now, it shouldn't take this long, valuation was confirmed months back. they simply don't do their job so I don't trust them. we're not a special case, I would expect a response in 3 working days max, off to another bank we go and the broker (helped many of our friends get a house) agrees completely.0

There are good brokers I know who refuse to deal with Barclays, they have that kind of reputation"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
