“Customised” Ray Ban Sunglasses

Hi there,
I recently ordered a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses online. When they arrived I loved the style however they are very small and don’t fit my face despite me having an average sized head. I tried to get a refund but their phone operator told me that as my item is customised I can’t return it.
I find this crazy as all I did to edit the glasses from the original design was to make the lenses polarised.
Any help on what I could do would be great. I have tried to email them twice however I have received no reply since.
Thanks

Choosing a polarised option isn't "customisation". Is the retailer in the UK?1
-
As mentioned, choosing from a list of available options does not make the item customized or made to the customer's specification.1

3rded ... if you purchased from a UK retailer then they are wrong - selecting from options offered on a website is not customisation or personalisation thus they cannot use this to deny you your right to return and cancel the contract under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.Jenni x0

Did you buy direct from Ray Ban?
You can return products purchased at Ray-Ban.com within 45 days of receiving shipment, with the exception of customised items (REMIX), because they have been custom made for you.
