Hi
I’m due to fly out to Finland in December but will be in Finland for less than 3 days.  Whilst I fully understand the entry requirements into Finland, I’m not sure on the testing requirements to get back into the UK. It says take a test within 3 days of entering the UK but I won’t have left the UK then. 

I have to take a test within 3 days of leaving UK to get into Finland, do I then have another test on the day of my departure from UK?

You need to do the enter the UK test within 3 days so if you go for less than 3 days you have the choice of doing it before you leave or doing it whilst you are there. 

If Finland required a test for entry, I understand they dont if you are vaccinated, then in theory you could do one test that covered both but timing wise that would only work if Finland accepted lateral flow tests.

At the risk of stating the obvious, there could be numerous changes in the rules at either or both ends over the next three months, so, while there's no harm in exploring the art of the possible at this stage, it's really another couple of months before you need to make any detailed plans....
