Residential Management and Parking Restrictions

....sorry clicked post accidentally.
So the road is adopted and all the documents we received and signed at the time of purchase show the management company has no rights over the road.
Additionally, the management company claimed on the phone that lots of complaints had been received about non-resident parking then upon questioning about numbers, it turned out to be 5. They then said the directors had made the decision because non-resident parking was a problem when they met on site a couple of weeks ago. Which again we challenged because we know the non-resident parking in the teachers and staff of the school nearby and it was the school summer holidays and they do not park during holidays.
The management company have refused to divulge the names of the directors citing GDPR, although I think we can get them from companies house. The management company claim that the directors can make the decision without any consultation.
They have agreed to share the plan by next Tuesday. I have spoken to 3 other neighbours all of whom object to the plans without more details.2 -
I'm sure you have guessed by now that the management, company may be in some serious bother here, while they may wrongfully cite GDPR as a reason not name directors it is potentially them and whoever signs any deal with a PPC that could be in the GDPR firing line.What is the name of this management company? some companies have certain reputationsDo you have a location for this area?? some councils have maps online of adopted roads, rights of way etc plus it may be of help in regards to giving adviceFrom the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"3 -
Yes we’ve checked on find my street that cites our road as adopted and maintained at public expense by our local authority. I cross checked another road that I know is private and that shows unadopted. The transfer of covenant clearly marks the areas for which the management company have authority and it’s essential two pieces of green space on my road and that’s it. Only the apartment buildings on the spur road from ours and their designated off street parking are under the jurisdiction of the management company.2

So they are trying to impose private parking on public highway! What did they say to that?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

@Coupon-mad presently they seem to be under the impression that the road is private and that the directors have the unilateral right to do so.
Incidentally the company is named RMG Ltd1 -
Bit pointless refusing to name company directors, since it's a matter of public record.

If the road is indeed adopted, then my earlier answer is wrong. It is not their road, they cannot paint lines on it, and they cannot do anything to it except drive along it as anybody else can do...
They can ask the council to institute a resident permit scheme, but no more.2 -
@AdrianC exactly!

By whom and how and when were they appointed as the estate management company? Are the residents / leaseholders / freeholders able to change the management company or take over the management directly?1
