Full motion TV mount on Victorian chimney breast?

I'm hoping to get a full motion/pivot mount for a 65 inch TV put on a Victorian chimney breast (unused).
Is this possible? I'm dubious about the chimney breast taking the weight to be honest but I'm not a DIYer (and would get someone in to do it).
By full motion I mean one that tilts up and down but also left and right.

I don't see any problem especially as modern TVs aren't that heavy.Once I did hang a similar size TV to an old chimney breast, and it was a long two-arm bracket that I used.

A chimney breast is solid load-bearing masonry, and hasn't been subject to weathering which could weaken the mortar, unlike the outside walls. The sides of the chimney breast act as buttresses conveniently positioned either side of the TV.
In a bombed out or collapsed building, the chimney is often the only part left standing. I can't think of a better place to hang the TV!

As above, the chimney breast can take a lot. You'll have no worries.
Bear the height in mind. TVs should generally have eye level at the middle of the screen. You don't really want it any higher then necessary, and fireplaces tend to force the issue.0 -
Very true. Lots of glossy pictures of TVs mounted high, but awful in practise. Moved into new house with cables carefully hidden in the wall to a mount over the fireplace. I had to chop them all off, and cover with a picture. TV now mounted at eye level when viewing.Grenage said:As above, the chimney breast can take a lot. You'll have no worries.

Thank you all. That chimney photo is extraordinary!
I like the TV high up for some reason although will definitely use the up/down tilt to make it more comfortable.0
