I've booked and paid for day 2 tests for myself and my OH  on our return from an amber country in a few weeks time - I have one order with 2 tests and one order code. I know we have to do passenger locator forms before we come back and add details of our day 2 tests- but do we both use the same order number?

This is the first time I have travelled outside the UK for 2 years and I'm worrying that whilst everyone else seems to find all these tests and forms easy- it all seems over complicated to me and I don't want to get anything wrong.

Also with regard to the PLFs is it easy just to do a one off form 48 hours before we return, or to set up accounts before we go and start pre filling our information.

Thanks

You do not have to open an account ,you can by pass this on the form and still fill it in ,you only need an account if you travel frequently.

You each need to fill in a passenger locator form and each need a separate booking reference number for your tests. If you order two Day 2 tests through somebody they will provide you with two separate booking references.

I’ve now had a response back from the company and they say the order reference they supplied for the tests can be used by both of us, and we both need to enter the same number on our PLFs as it will show that 2 tests have been ordered if checked. However they warned me that we both need to register our unique tests when we do them on our return and have our own unique accounts.
